The
Family Resource Center (FRC) is a one-stop community-based drop-in center
for information, resources, and services related to the support and
preservation of families.
The
FRC has been serving the families of Asbury Park since 1997 and is funded
by the New Jersey Department of Human Services to promote safe and stable
family programs. All services and programs are designed to address the
needs of the disadvantaged and vulnerable children and families of Asbury
Park whose chidlren may be at risk for out-of home placement, and low-income,
multi-need families experiencing difficulties adjusting to changing family
life-cycle situations and environmental distress.
The Family Resource Center also operates as a service hub through which
clients receive services and case management. In addition to promoting
service coordination, collaboration and networking, the Family Resource
